Women's Ministries

Relationships are important at Covenant—our relationship with God, and our relationships with each other. We have a variety of classes and small groups that offer different approaches to sharing truth and grace together as we follow Christ on the journey of faith.

Covenant’s Women’s Ministries seeks to nurture women by helping to meet their needs at all ages and stages of life. Our goal is to meet each woman where she is, accept her, and invite her to be a part of our church family. Through weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual events, we hope to provide women with opportunities to build relationships with each other, to relax, to grow in their faith, and to have fun.

  • The Well

All women are invited to join!

The Well is an open group that seeks to be a safe place where you can come as you are and be yourself. Many of us work during the day and need a place to connect at church. We love to laugh, to share the nitty-gritty of our lives, and to wrestle with God’s call on our lives. This year, The Well meets every Thursday beginning August 2023.

Meetings will be held at Covenant, in room 204 from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Contact Cathy Eskew to join or for more information.

    Newcomers welcome!

  • Gracefull quilters

GraceFull Quilters invites you to join them at Covenant on the first Saturday of every month at 9:30 am until 3:00 pm. All skill levels are welcome! Our quilting projects include quilts for newborns in the congregation and other needs as they arise. You may also work on personal projects. We will eat snacks together, chat, and work on our projects, separately, yet together. Call or text Kathy McCoy for more information.

  • Thursday morning women's bible study

Women meet for Bible study and fellowship during the school year.

The Thursday morning Bible study will begin on August 2023, at 9:30.  We will meet in-person in room 204.

For more information, questions, or to join contact: Sue Lien by email, text, or call.

  • Book club

If you love to read and discuss books with friends, you’re invited to join the Book Club that meets the last Sunday of most months. Our fellowship time centers around a monthly fiction or non-fiction book selection that challenges our thinking. More information about this seasons upcoming books and gathering times is available here

If interested in joining click this link and send the email with your contact information: first and last name, preferred email, and phone number. Please state you would like more information or to join.

  • Retreats and special gatherings

Two to three times a year, the women's ministries plan a day of retreat and refreshing combined with an outreach project. At recent events the women made fleece blankets for children in need, raised funds for trafficked women and children, and wrote cards to missionaries across the globe and to women in prison.

They devoted themselves to

the apostles’ teaching and fellowship,

to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
