2021 Children's Service

April 11, Children's Ministries will begin examining the events surrounding Jesus’ death and resurrection.

  • 10:30 a.m. Children's Service will meet in-person at Covenant in the family room on Sunday mornings. We will no longer be streaming this service.
  • For families that prefer to worship together online or in-person in the sanctuary, there will be a Children's time during our 10:30 am service.

In April, join us as we examine how to "level up" our faith.

Video games are something today's kids are familiar with. . . maybe even too familiar! Games are played on every platform from game consoles to handheld devices/phone, and there are a ton of different games to choose from. But the constant across this diverse gaming universe is that every game has levels of increasing difficulty. When a player "levels up," they are usually met with more challenges but also with more rewards. Through this series, we are challenging kids to "level up" their faith by examining the events surrounding Jesus' death and resurrection. Even though they might be facing difficulties and adversity of their own, kids will find the greatest rewards in their faith when they fix their eyes on Jesus. Because Jesus trusted God, Jesus beat death! When we doubt and have questions about  God, Jesus helps me believe, and even during those times, Jesus is always with me.

Please contact Sarah Misleh with any questions you may have, or if you are interested in volunteering. We are very excited to be meeting again whether it is in person or online!

Welcome to Children's Ministries at Covenant

This is a vibrant, creative, and fun place to be! Our goal, in partnership with families, is to nurture our children as they grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Children’s Ministries at Covenant Presbyterian Church is committed to supporting families in the spiritual development of their children in a safe, loving, and nurturing church environment. We accomplish this mission by:

    • providing a welcoming place where children experience God’s love and learn his word.
    • introducing children to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
    • teaching children about God’s big story and help them understand how they fit into it.
    • modeling prayer, worship, and Scripture reading as our way to communicate with God.
    • preparing children to live out their faith on a daily basis.
    • equipping staff, parents, and volunteers to work with children.

  • Sunday Mornings

Children's Church: is offered Sunday mornings in the family room at 10:30 am in person. We are currently discussing the Easter Journey, in the series Level Up from the Kids Grow Curriculum.

    The following classes are available:

    • Nursery: 10:30-11:30 during Sunday service
    • Preschool, (3 and 4 year olds): family room
    • Kindergarten through second grade: family room
    • Third through fifth grade: family room

You may join us in the sanctuary for the in-person service or on our live stream through Facebook or YouTube. We offer a children's time during the service for those that opt to worship together as a family. Children's church convenes from 10:30-11:30 am in the family room.

Throughout 2021 Children's Ministries will follow the Kids Grow Curriculum. A new series will start each month. In April we transition from Revealed (Jesus' Parables), to Level Up (the Gospels). Please join us as we dig deeper into God's Kingdom and his desire to be close with each of us.
