Small Groups start July 12!

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing but encouraging one another -- and all the more as you see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25

Small groups meet for a 6-week session, starting the week of July 12 and conclude by August 22. These groups are held either completely or partially online (Zoom) on a day of the week and time of the facilitator's choosing. Each meeting consists of a venue and weekly devotional. "Called" book study

This is a 6-week journey exploring what it means to truly "live" the Christian life rather than just "believing" our faith. Join us for this exploration and discussion using the book Called; The Crisis and Promise of Following Jesus Today by Mark Labberton. We will be meeting at Dublin park, so bring a camping chair and bottle of water. Dogs and kids are welcome if the kids would like to play in the park. We will also have some per-purchased copies of the book available, contact us to see if we still have some left before you buy!

"Couples of the old testament" Book study

On Tuesday's at 6:30 pm, our host will open his house for an in depth discussion of the book Couples of the Old Testament by Dale and Sandy Larsen. The Old Testament tells the stories of fascinating men and women in relationship: couples who live with chronic disappointment, couples who overcome all obstacles to be together, in-laws who can't stand each other, a wife who risks death if she walks in on her husband unannounced, and a husband who takes back his wife when she becomes a prostitute. There are arranged marriages, fiercely loving marriages, enduring marriages, an instant marriage, a coerced marriage, and a perfect marriage—until the couple blew it! In this  Bible study, you will dig deeper into these relationships highlighted in the Bible to learn important lessons about marriage, God and yourself.

Sermon series scripture "Got questions?"

This will be a 6 week session.

Hosted via Zoom, come discuss each week's sermon on Wednesday evenings for a deeper exploration of the message. This summer our message revolves around questions submitted by the congregation at Covenant.
