At Covenant, everything about us is missional—we are called to give ourselves in Kingdom ways to the world. As a family, we are also involved in places to which we have heard God’s specific call. For more information on any of these opportunities, please contact the church office at 719-598-0800.

At-Risk Children

Many of our activities outside our walls touch the lives of needy children. We continue to explore how that call fleshes out here at Covenant.

Covenant is involved with the annual Mobile Pack, a collective effort with many other churches and organizations. Last year we packed 331,560 meals and raised approximately $69,000 to pay for these meals (city-wide). The goal again this year is 300,000 meals, $66,000, and 1200 volunteers. FMSC is ranked 4 stars (top ranking) by Charity Navigator and has nearly 30 years of experience and expertise is serving the world’s hungry. Donate now to Covenant’s FMSC effort in this worthwhile and lifesaving endeavor. Learn more about FMSC.

Our Russian Orphans Ministry

Russia picAt Covenant we partner with Children’s HopeChest and Orphans Tree to bring the benefits of family and God’s hope to Russian orphans. We have been traveling to Russia for over a decade to minister to one of the most vulnerable populations in the world.   We  had a team visit the Pokrov Orphanage and Vladimir Ministry Center in May/June this year, as well as a team that just returned from the Kostroma region where we partnered local staff to hold an orientation camp for newly graduated orphan graduates.

You can visit the Children’s HopeChest website and the Orphans Tree website to learn more about our Russia ministry partners. For additional information about our Russian Orphans Ministry, for information about traveling with future teams, or if you would like to donate to our ministry, contact the church office.

Sponsor Pokrov Children: A monthly sponsorship is $34 and transforms the life of a child. We have new children to sponsor! Please go to the table in the atrium on Sunday.
